The new resort features a very large pool area called “The Tank.” It is a very nice resort style pool with a couple twists. The first is an impressive water slide that includes a pass through tunnel through a 200,000 gallon aquarium full of sharks and large ocean dwelling fish. The Tank has been listed as one of the top ten resort pools in the world by Forbes magazine. Finally, the Golden Nugget just recently renovated their theatre, which seats 600 people and has well known national acts coming through, including a summer of very popular country music artists as well as the permanent attraction of Gordie Brown, who is a well versed musician and comedian.

The Casino boasts 38,000 square feet of gaming space, giving it plenty of room to have the best of everything.
